HOUSTON, August 15, 2019 – – Scorpion Oil & Gas, LLC (“Scorpion”) announced today the acquisition of twenty-two (22) operated natural gas properties in the Black Warrior Basin of Mississippi from a private independent upstream company.  “Here we go again, I can’t make this stuff up! When we decided to do our first operated deal in the Black Warrior Basin, as a core part of our strategy, I felt like we would be able to find a good pipeline of asset deals in the basin. But my goodness, I didn’t think we would find them so quickly! This second operated deal is a confirmation of our strategy – find great assets and execute great deals away from the sizzle and high value expectations of the Permian Basin, SCOOP / STACK, Eagle Ford and Bakken.
