HOUSTON, January 7, 2020 – – Scorpion Oil & Gas, LLC (“Scorpion”) announced today the acquisition of two (2) operated oil wells and one (1) salt water disposal well in Clarke County, MS, a hotbed of oil activity in the Southern portion of the Black Warrior Basin.  “Early in the New Year, we have decided to expand our presence to Southern MS with a small acquisition.  Although our operations in this area will be minimal for now, I suspect it won’t be long before we find an add-on acquisition in the area.  We will be patient in looking for the right deal, but patience is a relative virtue depending on who you talk to. We also picked up another salt water disposal well around our existing operations in Monroe County.  We hope to partner with other operators in the area to help lower their disposal costs.  If we cannot help each other as operators, who will?” commented Nat J.
